We are dedicated to involving residents with memory loss in daily activities that help them feel valued and provide them with a sense of purpose.
The care team assess individual interests and abilities, which can be matched with life skills and activities that tap into implicit and procedural memories.
Daily activities are specifically identified to nurture the spirit of residents by preserving life skills, which are familiar tasks that residents enjoyed doing in the past, that still bring them a sense of purpose in the present.
Our Memory Care teams design personalised programmes with multisensory experiences, exercise, outings, gardening, intergenerational activities and visits with pets, depending on what benefits each individual.
Activities take place one-to-one with a carer, or in small groups with residents who have similar interests.

All our homes provide a warm and homely environment where residents of all abilities and interests can thrive. Every comfort possible is afforded to our residents and their families.
Our interior design team create beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms and living spaces and residents are encouraged to bring furnishings from their home and pictures of their family to make their room familiar and even more homely.

Creating environments that residents/families and friends feel at home in is key to our design philosophy.”
Each home offers a variety of age-friendly /dementia friendly day rooms, dining rooms and quiet lounges to enjoy a cup of tea, read a book or chat with a friend. Our activity rooms offer space for individual and group activities and entertainment.

Fresh and Homemade
Ensuring our residents have nutritionally balanced food and drinks is fundamental to good care and a priority for all our nursing homes. Appetising homemade meals prepared fresh every day is fundamental to our residents’ quality of life, health and wellbeing.
Our chefs and kitchen staff produce well-balanced, attractively prepared meals to suit all tastes – only the freshest produce is used. Meals are served in our spacious dining rooms that provide opportunities for social interaction, or in a resident’s room depending on how they are feeling.
All special dietary requirements (for example, vegetarian, low fat or high protein) and personal choices are recorded in residents’ personal plans. Morning snacks, afternoon tea/coffee, and evening snacks are served throughout the day.
